Ms. Smith is a civil litigator whose practice areas include employment, commercial, landlord/tenant, real property and civil rights law. She received her undergraduate degree from George Washington University (B.A., cum laude, 1998) and her master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder (M.A., 2001). She received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., with honors, 2004), where she earned recognition for her service in the Asylum and Human Rights clinic and received two CALI Excellence for the Future awards. Before joining the firm in 2005, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Bishop of the Connecticut Appellate Court. Ms. Smith is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Fairfield County Bar Association. She serves on the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together of Stamford/Greenwich and is a member of the Women’s Business Development Center and the Fairfield Network of Executive Women. Ms. Smith is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bars.
