Mr. Lorenzo is both a certified public accountant and an attorney who practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning and administration, and corporate, partnership, and business law. He joined the firm in 1978, merging his practice with ours. He is past president of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and served on the national board of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs. He also served as trustee and president of the Educational Trust Fund of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a former editor of the "Tax Roundtable" column in The Connecticut CPA. He is a former board member and officer of the Roxbury Community Association and Campaign Captain for the United Fund of Stamford. Mr. Lorenzo is a graduate of New York University (B.S. cum laude,1950), and New York University School of Law (J.D. 1960; LL.M. in Taxation, 1964). In addition to being "of counsel" to the firm, Mr. Lorenzo also serves as a panel member and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association as a member of their newly formed Federal Tax Expert Panel.
