Howard Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan was educated at the University of Michigan (B.A. 1956, Phi Beta Kappa) and Yale Law School (J.D. 1959). A member of both the Connecticut and New York bars, he joined the firm in 1961. His practice has focused on business, corporate, and construction law, real estate, and civil litigation. He has been a member of the Stamford Board of Representatives and has served as Majority Leader. Mr. Kaplan was an instructor of business law at the University of Connecticut Graduate School of Business from 1977 to 1997, and was a visiting lecturer and guest fellow at Yale University from 1983 to 1991. He was a director and past president of the Child Care Center of Stamford, director and counsel to the Stamford Land Conservation Trust, director of Hospice Care, Inc. of Stamford, and a director of the Stamford Foundation. Mr. Kaplan also has served as a Connecticut Superior Court Trial Referee.
